“This current series of drawings are Papermate blue pens and good 100% rag paper. These drawings take from 8 to 50 hours each to complete. I want to express something about a specific moment — specific light, place, and time. I love sitting down with a pen and a sheet of paper, a photograph, and spending a block of time being in that moment of drawing—- just seeing what happens.”
